Privacy policy
Secure Gallery is a local photo and video manager provided by Vector Nest.
Data processing
The app displays only the photos and videos you import. It reads device-library items and metadata only during import selection, not on startup or while you browse the encrypted album. Imported files, indexes and thumbnails are encrypted locally. Your password derives a key on the device and is never uploaded.
This version needs no account and includes no advertising, behavioral tracking or remote analytics SDK. It does not upload media, passwords, photo metadata or usage history to developer servers.
Permissions
Photo and video access is requested when you choose imports. You can allow selected photos only, deny access or revoke it in device settings; existing encrypted copies remain available after unlocking. Deleting device originals and saving exports are separate actions you choose and may require system permission.
The operating system may download originals from iCloud or other system cloud galleries under those services’ privacy policies. The app does not control system cloud sync.
Storage and deletion
Media in secure space, thumbnails and file indexes are encrypted in a directory accessible only to the app. Previews are decrypted into a temporary directory accessible only to the app, which is cleared when locking and on startup. Android automatic backup is disabled, and iOS secure-space directories are excluded from backup.
You can export or delete protected files. Deleting a protected copy does not automatically delete its original. Uninstalling deletes local secure-space data. This version offers no password recovery, cloud sync or cloud backup.
Security limits
Public iOS APIs cannot prevent a single system screenshot. Take additional precautions for unlocked screens, Recently Deleted, cloud originals, and rooted or jailbroken devices.

This website
This website runs on an independent static service hosted by DigitalOcean. Cloudflare provides DNS only, and Caddy provides HTTPS. When you open a page, the website infrastructure processes your IP address, request path, time and browser information to deliver the page, protect the service and diagnose problems. Routine web access logs are disabled; necessary operational, certificate-management and error records may still be produced. The website uses no analytics scripts, third-party fonts, cookies, advertising trackers or data-collection forms. Website requests do not read or upload photos, videos or passwords stored in the app. We update this policy when these practices change.
